Happy Halloween!! BOO!!!

How sad is it, when you can go into your every wardrobe and pull out a costume...very sad--LOL

This is how I went to work today, with kitten ears...the necklace is my regular pearl necklace, that I twisted in ribbon. I was trying to create a ruffle effect, but it didn't quite come out the way I planned, but I did like the texture it created.

Tomorrow we are going to a Halloween party :) I would rather buy myself another blouse then a costume, so I was digging in my closet and found this. I'm trying to go for a 60's look! I'm going to buy a peace sign necklace tomorrow morning or some big plastic jewelry, hopefully the stores won't be packed---hmmm we'll see.

Thank you Fashion After Forty

I won this beautiful bracelet from fashion after forty so of course I wanted to wear it right away when the package arrived late last night. This bracelet is gorgeous and it looks so fancy, so of course I had to put it with a sparkly dress :)

If you haven't had a chance to visit fashion after forty its a must see, not only does Sherry have an amazing wardrobe collection, but her private collection of gowns are to die for and her sense of humor shines right through. Thank you again Sherry for pulling my name out of a hat :)

Another TLC moment

The women on TLC What Not to Wear has a lace cami underneath, but its very hard to see with the glare. What do you think...similar?

Lately I've been labeling my outfits as 'hit' or 'miss', this would be a miss because I wouldn't wear this combo again, I didn't feel 100% confident with my look and I rather repeat the things that make me feel pretty :)

Monday & Tuesday

I recently purchased this suit, even though I already own the pant version of it. I knew I shouldn't have purchased it, but I really wanted the skirt, I even asked the sales lady if she can just sell me the skirt, but of course I had to buy the whole thing. I don't regret it, but I still wished she just sold me the skirt since I already owned the blazer. I wore it to a trade show today, so I was very happy with my choice of outfit.

Also, I want to mention that these shoes from Avon are so wonderful, I was impressed with not only the genuine leather (upper) but the comfort too. I have recently started to become a huge Avon fan, they have good stuff at great prices.

I do have to admit I need to work on my make-up...with the change of seasons, my skin tone changes color (lighter or darker) so I have to find a new foundation that matches more my skin color as it is now.

Off to the air show

My husband and I decided to go to the air show with some friends at the last minute, so I thought it was a good opportunity to wear the t-shirt I received for running the 10K Run 4 Her Life 2009 World Tour last Sunday. Mike Delfino from Desperate Housewives was there and Mya from Dancing with the Stars, performed at the race.

I had such a great weekend...I hope you did too!

Dinner with the inlaws

We met my in-laws at their restaurant they partially own today. I originally had a dress planned for this occasion but when I slipped on the dress I forgot it had a zipper, and tried to force it over my head and broke the zipper. It was unwearable and luckily I had this outfit inspired by Jennifer Aniston planned for a Vegas cocktail event next month for a trade show that I decided to wear at the last minute.

I also included a picture of my hubby since he looked very dapper--my hubby really has nice clothes, but for some reason doesn't use them unless he sees his parents. I took advantage and snapped a photo, a lot of bling going on today, but I was really happy that my last minute outfit came out quite well.

I wish I took a picture of my mother-in-laws Judith Leiber purse, it was to die for, but they always have stuff to die for :)

2nd time

This was the outfit I was trying to go for yesterday. I had a really hard time getting the combo just right. Originally I had a blue jean jacket with a red button up shirt with this skirt and it looked to messy. I wanted to give it a second try, and I was very happy I did.

Our local weather man claims its going to be 92 degrees tomorrow so there goes that outfit I had in my head for tomorrow.

Shoes-Fiona
skirt-Gap
tank-Isaac Mizrahi for Target
jacket-Jennyfer J

just one of those days.

I originally had a different outfit in mind, but when I went to put it on, it didn't look quite right so I changed into this. Honestly, I wasn't feeling so professional but felt more like I should be taking a stroll in the park.

Speaking of stroll in the park, I did my first ever round of golf yesterday. It was amazing!!!! It looks so intimidating going into the huge golf course but once your there it really isn't that bad. So now I can officially say I've gone golfing :)

I forgot to take the picture of my golf outfit since they moved up the time so it wouldn't get dark, but I was thinking of doing a collage of the outfits I forgot to take pictures of in the past. Some evening looks too :)

My car cost me a whopping $438 --Good times! and I found out that I need rear breaks, a cv boot and new front tires...Wahoo!! when it rain it pours, but at least I'm able to drive it right now, but you can pretty much guess I'll be in the car shop this weekend for sure.

I have so many things going on in my life, like training for the 1/2 marathon for example so I've been behind in commenting on your blogs...I do look (Thank you Blackberry!!!) but not commenting...but know I'm stopping by.

Sunday, Monday, Tuesday

On Sunday I'm normally in my PJ's, but I needed to run to the store for a second, so I threw on a jacket and some flats. Today I was going to wear the dress and boot combo, but the minute I walked out the door I realized I had an important meeting later this afternoon so I had to go back to change.

I'll wear the dress tomorrow, no big deal, but the reason I forgot about the appointment is because I'm having car trouble...I had no choice but to take it into the dealer today and should be ready tomorrow. I'm crossing my fingers they'll call me at 7am because I really do hate missing work. I'm one of those people who enjoys what they do for a living, so I'm ready to hit the road tomorrow.

Here is another purse from my collection. I told myself after this purchase I wasn't going to buy any more Coach items anymore...I love the brand (rumor has it 1 in ever 4 women own a Coach something...) but there is so many 'fake' purses out there that I really don't want people thinking my items are fake, especially when I know I paid good money for them.

Weekend Purse

This is what I pretty much carry with me on the weekends including 6 different types of wallets/carrying cases. Just thought I should share.

I've had this purse for many years and I love it, I put a few ink stains on it and plan to give it to a professional for a good cleaning (If your in So. Cal--Margret's Cleaners in Newport Beach, does a fabulous job) but I've been to lazy to go.

When I saw this purse it was one of those things that I had to have...at the time I had never heard of the brand but I didn't care, I looked at it and it was well made Italian leather and I knew it was worth the money.

Purse--Kooba
wallet/carrying cases from left to right:
1. Pucci
2. Chanel
3. Buxton (this replaced a Fendi that got lost/stolen)
4. Prada
5. Hermes
6. Coach

Kimblery inspired

This look was inspired by Fab Finds Under $50 thought it looked cute and since I had the basics, I went for it. I didn't realize how wrinkly I looked, so I'm a little embarrassed, but overall I was very happy with the outfit.

Fall/Winter is here and I'm losing my light and making my photo's darker, so I need to move the tripod and find a better location for my pictures.

Hope you are all having a fab weekend :)
