getting back into the groove of things

Wanted to show you a couple of things in this picture. First, my new mirror, I'm so happy with it, but I'm not happy with the location. It doesn't get enough light IMO, but I'll see if I'm able to put it elsewhere later on. Second, I got a haircut today after work, so the before is the picture of this morning and the after is from just now. I told the hairdresser I wanted to keep the length but it looks so much shorter, but I do like the bangs :-) and third-my glasses, I got new glasses too, they are red and I'm loving them!! I do want some lavender ones or purple, but I will need to check the budget.

Closet part 4

I also have a product review, I wasn't to happy with these plastic white things (sorry, forgot what to call them) they are suppose to save space, but IMO I think it looks sloppy and it only gives the illusion of space, but its still as tight as if I put them all hanging on the rod. Not sure if I'm going to get rid of them, especially since I threw away all the packaging. Time will tell.

I have put my clothes in categories, short sleeve, long sleeve, tanks, t-shirts, jeans, cardigans, etc.
same with accessories, nail polish, hair accessories, eye wear, pins and gloves.

We are also planning to move in two years, so I didn't want to build shelves and install rods and spend all the money to get it just how I want it. So my shoes are all over the place.

Funny thing, my long scarves I tied them in knots on a rack, but my hubby saw them and asked "Why do you have doggy chew toys in your closet room?"

Wow, I didn't realize how much stuff I owned. I had to get rid of a few things along the way because it was beginning to be to much for me. This is my belts and jewelry--a wise blogger told me if you can't see your stuff, chances are your not going to wear it, so for now, this is how I laid it out.

The move is done, (even though I'm still living in boxes) the internet is up and I'm still trying to clean out the old place, but right now I can't find my camera...I supposedly put it in a safe place so I cannot lose it and guess what...I can't remember where I put it.

I'll try my hardest to find it today, so pictures are coming soon :-)

I'm moving :-) Happy Friday!

I think this may be my last picture in front of the bathroom mirror. I don't own a full length mirror so I'm probably going to buy one or have my hubby take a picture of me every day. More likely I'll be buying myself a mirror and I'm fine with that. Hopefully I can buy a new camera too :-)

Technically we don't have to be out of this place until Aug. 22nd but movers and packers are all coming tomorrow so we will be staying at our new place starting Saturday :-)

I've had this T-shirt for a while now and I sort of had buyers remorse until today. I came to work and every single girl in the office loved my T-shirt and asked where I bought it, so that made me appreciate it more and plan to use it more often.

If I could I would change 2-3 times a day only because I love playing dress up (or dress down)

a rant about my hair

I tried to go with a secretary look today...not sure how I feel about this look, I probably won't wear it again, but I tried.

Any ideas how I can cut/wear my hair? I need some serious help. My hair is so straight, fine and funny enough it grows fast that I can't keep the cut no longer than 2 weeks. I need help, please recommend your products or ideas on how to wear my hair. Thanks!

I'm in the process of moving, so I won't be commenting on your blogs as often as I would like, but please know I am still lurking around and looking at all your pretty outfits.

This of course is another WNTW moment. I tape it everyday. I hope its not considered lazy for doing this. This is quite fun for me and I enjoy trying to simulate the look. A little hard to see from the glare of the TV, but you get the idea :-)

A page from Marie Claire

This was from last month's page and I took a picture of it because I really liked it. I'm glad I finally had the chance to wear something similar--I picked gold over the silver, but I think I came close :-)

Today on my way home from work, I stopped at the mall trying to find Sher's skirt from H&M. I also stopped by other stores since I was there but in each store (and this was not the first time) I was asked by each sales person if I worked at the mall. Not sure why they would think that, or why that question comes to mind when they see me, but its the most common question I get asked every time I go to a mall. Weird?!?!

One day I decided go Google fashion on the website and her blog site came up after scanning a few pages, I clicked on it and I have never looked back. Thank you Struggling to be Stylish

I am always amazed and honored to be getting awards and today I was informed I received the 'MeMe Award' by Struggling to be Stylish. Thank you Struggler I do appreciate it :-) To comply with this award, I need to tell you my top 25 things, so here they are.

1. I have to many clothes and accessories, I'm a shopacholic.

2. I hate horror movies and I can't watch most action packed movies either.

3. I tend to go overboard with parties.

4. I'm also a workaholic, I will answer my phone or e-mail in the wee hours of the night.

5. Its hard for me to dress up on the weekends.

6. All of my clothes are from natural fibers.

7. I don't like to clean.

White Jeans

I have never been a fan of white jeans/pants (mainly because of the see through issue), however for the first time in 16 years I wore some white slacks with a light brown pinstripe a month or so ago and felt comfortable that I decided it was finally time to find some white jeans. So when I spotted this pair at Ann Taylor Loft for only $9.99/ea (at their final rack sale) I was not only thrilled about the price but grateful they fit me well and I'm loving it. I already know what outfit to wear them next, so I'll probably wear them again sometime next week.

I am so loving this outfit...funny thing, when my hubby looked at me this morning he said, you look very 'flash dance' I laughed and said I was trying to go for the B-52's or Austin Power look, not sure where he got flash dance from.

Black & White

Flower top, stripe skirt, solid texture belt, and tweed shoes..love how it all works because they are all the same color pallet. I also used the little bumpit for my little pooch on top, I was able to hold it with 4 bobby pins...not sure if I like the look on me since the poof made me feel 14 again but I'm trying new things, so I'll keep experimenting.
