thought to ponder

I'm always amazed about how you can really find nice things at a thrift store. This skirt and blouse combo was both found at a thrift store. Why would someone give away these beautiful things? there are no stains, tears nor anything ugly about these two pieces of clothing and I always ponder why the owners gave it up.

I guess if someone lost or gained weight and/or they're just plain tired of them already, but I always still wonder why someone would give nice things away? I'm not complaining since I'm reaping the rewards :-) just wondering.

Some people donate items to Goodwill for a tax write off.

  4. Sometimes I'm curious when I initially find a great looking item at a thrift store, but then when I get it home and put it on I usually find out why the person gave it away. Creasibility is a big one. I've re-thrifted items because of it.

  5. I always wonder why people are giving such great items away. I've found amazing steals at thrift stores before. If I inspect them before buying and see there's nothing wrong, I have to just assume that the person didn't like it. Their loss! My (or your) gain! :) THAT'S the beauty of thrifting! :D Way to go, girl!
