Ash Wednesday

Kind of hard to see, but I'm very proud of my choice today. I think this is the best out of the bunch so far. I'm also in love with the print of the blouse, in person it looks so yummy.

Typical work day

I do this blog because I want to see what I look like when I get up and go to work in the morning. I know I can do better.

I also noticed that I have been wearing purple this week since Sunday-- So I am keeping the theme and I will be wearing purple all week. I'm the only one that dresses up for work in my company. Everyone else wears a company logo shirt (i.e. polo shirts) . Logo shirts seemed to be the rule of thumb but I like to dress up (or at least try to)

Running around town

My husband wasn't here to help me and personally I think he's getting annoyed of me asking him to take my picture all the time, so I decided to take my own picture this morning. Excuse the mess but the only full length mirror I own is in the bathroom. Mondays and Fridays are usually more casual for me. Today I'm running around town trying to UPS/FED-EX/Mail business stuff as well as do anything that needs to be done (work related of course) before I go out of town. I need to be somewhat dress in case a customer needs me to make an emergency visit. I admire the bloggers that can do this all the time because in a way blogging is work.

Going out for Pho'

I'm glad I'm doing this because I'm going to start wearing belts or something to cinch my waste. Again, I feel like a box looking at the picture. Maybe a jacket? Today is our lazy Sunday and since I don't feel like cooking we are going to PHo' for lunch. If you haven't tried PHo' I suggest to try it once because it is soooo good.

Dinner with Friends

I may be a little fancy for going over to a friend's house for dinner, but I really don't care, I like to dress up, but I can't tell if this dress is flattering on me or not. What do you think?

Yes, I know that you are suppose to love your body and if you dress it well you can even look slimmer, but darn it, I look like a box! As much as I don't like the pictures, I really do like the dress, maybe it will be better on someone else?

Missing shoes

Have you ever regretted giving away shoes you wish you didn't? Well here are two example of "I wish I still had them".

These two pairs of shoes I had a few years back, I donated them to my local thrift store because I wasn't fashionable yet to know how to pair them up with. The Nude BCBG's I don't mind so much because due to my work life I have to wear close toe shoes, but I do miss the orange ones.

This was during my 'trying' stage and yes, I do take pictures of all my shoes--sadly I have so many shoes I need to take a picture of them so I know what I own and A) not repeat buying them and B) its easier for me to pair up stuff with. If there was a time machine, I would go back and get them :)

Birthday Shoe

I know its probably to early to post again, but I had to share this with you.

My wonderful friend gave me a shoe calendar because obviously I am obsessed with shoes. This is the shoe the Designer Gods chose for my birthday. Guess what? I own the exact same shoe. Yup! same make and model...how crazy is that?????

Day 1-The beginning

Today is my introductory day. I have been admiring all of the fashion blogs and have always wanted to do one. I dress up almost every day for the past two years and I like to think I'm getting better at it as each day passes.

My first post will be about my closet. I try to shop my closet every day but for some reason new things keep appearing :-)

My husband has restricted me from making anymore purchases, so we'll see how that goes.

I have tons more pictures of my closet, (skirts, dresses, pants, more shoes, purses and jewlery) not shown. It just got to be to much so I decided to just give you a small example of what I own :)
