The Event

Boy, do I look terrible--I started to catch a cold yesterday evening and this morning it just kept getting worse and worse and we had a fundraiser to attend to tonight, it was called The Event.

It was held at a Yacht Club and there was a silent and live auction. This was our number #137 and it was to raise money for programs at a local elementary school (keep in mind I don't have any children...LOL) , we tried to bid on items but when a parking space goes for $6k, its hard to keep up with the Joneses and the Rockefeller's.

It was fun, but I really wanted to go home and crawl into bed, I'm ready for some tea and some sleep.

Can I just say FINALLY!!!!! I'm so glad this is over...
I literally wanted to give up many times over, but I stuck with it. Not sure if I'll do it again, but it was a good experience.

Wardrobe Capsule--Day 4

As much as I love the experience, I can't wait until this is over, I really do like my shoes and I enjoy wearing a different pair every day, so sticking to two pairs is actually depressing me...LOL.

I was told I look very christmassy--that's what happens when you can only wear a few items...LOL

Wardrobe Capsule--Day 3

Doing this wardrobe challenge proves to me that I don't need anymore clothes. Its seems I can go a week with the same 2 pants, 1 dress, 2 shirts, 1 vest, 1 sweater and 1 jacket plus 2 shoes and 5 accessories. I'm pretty amazed at myself that I could do this, because its a lot easier than I thought.

So today is my first day of the wardrobe capsule, I rolled up the sleeves and put on some pattern tights for some interest. I wish I added a bit of color, but hopefully next time.
