Thank you Passion for Fashion

Passion for Fashion passed me the honest scrap award. Thank you so much, but since I did something similar with the me me award I'm going to give you the link instead of posting my 10 honest things.

What I do want to say about Passion is, one of the reasons I like visiting her blog is because she reminded me of yours truly a few years back. All I wore was t-shirts and jeans with flip flops or sneakers, but little by little I started to add a pop of color or put on a dress or try some heels until I became confident enough to pull these things off, loving how I feel. Its so wonderful to watch someone grow like that and I know PassionforFashion will become of style diva she is striving to be. Plus she is just a great person, so its hard not to want to watch her. Keep up the good work by beauty and good luck with the interview.

Shades of red

I was running late Friday morning; that I was only able to grab the camera, take a shot and go. My camera is so good, its picking up all the lint in the mirror...LOL

Nothing special, but I do like how I look slim in this look.

inspiration from other blogs

I guess you can say I drive for a living, so I am always stuck in LA Traffic or some sort of traffic jam, so until the roads are moving I lurk through all your blogs via my phone--Don't worry I don't text or call anybody (Calif Law) but I just skim through.

Obviously because I'm driving I cannot comment but I do look at fashion blogs all the time. I saw this polyvore from Fab Finds Under $50 Kimberly was giving advise on how to mix and match your wardrobe and when I saw this photo, I thought "hmmm I have a blue dress, I have a yellow sweater, I have a scarf..." so today I decided to put it in action.

Truth be told, this would be a good outfit for a luncheon or a baby/bridal shower but not really for work. I didn't feel this was work appropriate in my industry, so I will probably not wear this again (well, unless there is a brunch or something) but not for work.

I know, I know...WNTW again :)

I bring my visor, golf shoes and all my belongings in this bag to go golfing. I'm so excited because in 2 weeks we're actually going to go on a real golf course...so super excited!!!

The sweater from TLC WNTW is from White House & Black Market a few years back...I was almost going to buy it, but I had already done a big purchase that week and was feeling guilty for spending so much money, so I didn't buy it. I so regret it...I want that sweater really bad, the one I'm wearing is not fitting me quite like I want it to, but since I'm not much of a cardigan fan, I'm OK with the one I own.

no models here

I can't pose to save my life--I finally have a tripod and these two shots were the best out of the bunch. So pitiful..LOL... lucky for me I never wanted to be a model or an actress when I grew up. I wanted to be a high power business women who wore suits everyday and went to work in a high rise building and used her laptop at coffee shops.

Even though I'm not high power yet, I do use my laptop in coffee shops and I have a nice collection of suits :) so I'm almost there...darn economy, I need it to get better so I can move up that corporate ladder....one of these days...

Obviously another TLC WNTW moment :)

Picture day!

Another episode of TLC WNTW re-run that I really liked. I've been waiting for fall just to wear this combo, so when I found out it was picture day at work, this was the look I wanted to pull out today--Professional but not to dressy.

I've been on this purse kick, so today I decided to bring out another purse, plus show you my file folder I use to hold my line cards.

coming out of the closet

Another rare occasion I'm able to take out a purse from my closet. This is my resort bag, I only use this purse when I'm staying at hotels, very good travel bag IMO. This was also my very first big purchase (other than my car!) obviously since then, my collection has grown and hopefully I'm able to show you more beautiful things hidden away in my closet soon.

Have a great weekend!
