I do better with inspiration

Sadly, I think I dress better when I copy a look (or do an outfit inspired look) then try to do it on my own. This look came from the page of InStyle 07' guide, I found this book the other day and started going through it again and thought this look would be a good look today.

Plus since it wasn't raining anymore I needed an excuse to wear my leather jacket my husband bought for me for my birthday. I do wish I owned the lime green vest, but I was happy with what I owned.

Mental Note: take picture in the morning

I haven't had the time to take a picture in the morning, so by the time I get to it, its around 7pm or so. My husband is so sweet, he says I look beautiful at 7pm as I do when I first wake up. Got a love a man that thinks your pretty no matter what.

rain again?

Rain wouldn't bother me so much if I wasn't driving in it. Yesterday it rain very hard with thunder and lightning and even though it was pretty to watch, driving in it can get a little scary especially when the people around you are not use to it.

I don't know how I feel about this sweater, I don't think it flatters me to well and I wish the neckline was a little lower, but overall I like the color combo and the bottom 1/2 of the outfit.

One of the many reason why I do this blog...trial and error--checking out what looks good or not.

6 more weeks of winter

This outfit was inspired by a post made by The Bargain Hunter Extraordinaire She wrote: "I learned a long time ago that sometimes when Spring won't come to you; you have to go to it."
and I of course agree with that statement.

However, living in Southern California, we really do not have a winter like the east coast, but cold is still cold in my book and sometimes you just need a bit of sunshine.

This photo was taken at the end of a very long day. Not only did I run a 1/2 marathon yesterday but trying to do a Super Bowl party and go to work the next day can get the wind knocked out of you, so hopefully tomorrow I won't look so tired.

Purple Boots

This picture was taken at the lunch room at my job. I had an early meeting so I needed to be at work before 8am, so I didn't have time to take my picture until the end of the day.

Road Warrior

I've been on the road a lot lately, after many months of begging for a bigger territory I finally got my wish. So you will most likely see pictures of me in hotel rooms :)

I'll admit-- traveling, packing and taking pictures is a lot more tougher than I originally thought, but I plan to make it happen.

I'm still trying to learn how to work the camera...a few fumbles here and there, but so far so good...sadly I'm not good at reading instructions--I'm good at taking instructions, but reading them is a whole other story.
