fall splurge

I am so excited for fall, I love tights especially ones with designs; full price these are $9.00/ea. I didn't mind spending the money because I've purchased some in the past at Dept. stores as much as $26.00/ea so $9.00/ea was a steal for me. I got one of every color. I'm so happy to add them to my collection and I can't wait to wear them come fall.

Today's heat in So. California hit 101 degrees so unfortunately I had to take the jacket off most of the day. One of my customers gave me a nice compliment today and that made my day :) I don't look for compliments all the time, but its sure nice to get one, once in a while.

For some reason I feel like a waiter in this outfit. I originally was going to wear a black skirt or black pant, but then I REALLY felt like a waiter. I was excited I was able to fit into this shirt again. I was ready to donate it because its a size smaller than what I usually buy...so happy I can keep it...you can never have enough white shirts IMO.

The little girl in me

I have been on the look out for a cheetah print sweater and I found this one at Charlotte Russe, I'm not digging the sweater, I think it looks young on me. I do like the lace detail, but not so much everything else. I did spot one at Macy's the other day, maybe I'll go back and get it :)

This is my niece, she loves going into my closet and play dress up. She wanted to take home this scarf and 3 of my OPI nail polishes, I told her only if she posed for me :)

Happy Labor Day Weekend!

I am so happy this is a 3 day weekend!!!! Wahoo!!! Today is running errands day, lots of things to do. My husband and I plan to visit the new Target at the mall. Since we are new to the area, we are exploring the surrounding stores and restaurants. So far we have a favorite pizza place, now I have to find a good dry cleaning shop.

pink or purple?

I actually forgot that I owned these shoes until I saw Kimberly from Fab Finds with them on, so I was determined to wear them today. I wasn't lucky enough to find them for $2 like Kimberly did, but I still got a deal of $6.99! The funny thing is--I thought these shoes looked lavender to me, not pink, so I paired it with a lavender shirt. I guess you can go either way but next time I'll try something pink on.

Am I being RASH-anal

This morning I woke up with a rash around my neck. I think I may be allergic to the necklace I wore yesterday or something, either way--I had no choice but to wear a necklace today to cover it up. I didn't want to put make-up on it in case it made it worse, so today I had to dress around my necklace again.

Necklace inspired

I'm on a mission to find 'crazy' or bright color skirts, so this skirt is a recent purchase. Once I took this skirt home, I had no idea what I was going to wear with it. Luckily for me I had a necklace with this color and it brought me to the outfit you see today :)
